Canadian Museum of History, Gatineau, Quebec
Braiding Knowledges Canada (BKC) is honored to host its inaugural Gathering from March 5-7, 2025, at the beautiful Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Quebec. This event will celebrate the braiding of Indigenous and Western knowledge systems, or "braiding knowledges", weaving together distinct ways of knowing.
Join us for an unforgettable event as we honor our legacy as the Canadian Mountain Network and embrace our future as Braiding Knowledges Canada!
The Gathering will bring together Indigenous organizations, researchers, government, industry and business leaders, and not-for-profits to share and mobilize knowledge from Indigenous-led and co-led research initiatives. Attendees can look forward to engaging keynotes, panel discussions, and opportunities to connect with diverse voices to foster inclusive knowledge sharing and decision-making.
