Wishing you peace, renewal, and reflection as we approach the winter solstice
As we approach the winter solstice, a time of renewal and reflection for many Indigenous peoples, we honor the deep connections to the land and the cycles of nature that guide us. The winter solstice marks a moment of stillness and rebirth, a reminder of the strength found in the darkest of times and the promise of light that follows.
As we reflect on 2024, we celebrate our transition from the Canadian Mountain Network to Braiding Knowledges Canada. This milestone marks the beginning of a renewed mission to braid Indigenous and Western knowledges into collaborative solutions for sustainability, research, and community resilience.
This journey has been made special by our incredible network of partners, collaborators, and supporters. Thank you for being a part of this meaningful work!
