Last week, our board and staff gathered at Grey Eagle Resort, on the traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy, Tsuut’ina Nation, Stoney Nakoda Nations, and Métis Nation of Alberta. Together we reflected, planned, and learned through a board meeting and Tsuut’ina cultural awareness training with Brown Bear Woman Events, including a nature walk led by Elder Bruce Starlight.
We also expressed heartfelt thanks to Charity, Niall, and Maribeth, whose leadership and dedication have shaped our journey from CMN to BKC.
BKC Co-Research Directors Dr. Paulina Johnson and Dr. Murray Humphries discuss how BKC Knowledge Hubs are built, how they function, and the meaningful impacts of this innovative approach.
