Knowledge Hub Spotlight: Aqua Wolastokuk Gespe'gewa'gi Netukulimk

Led in partnership with the Mi’gmaq Wolastoqey Indigenous Fisheries Management Association (AGHAMW), this aquatic Knowledge Hub is advancing sustainable management of Atlantic salmon and striped bass across the Gaspé Peninsula.

By braiding Mi’gmaq and Wolastoqey ecological knowledge with Western science, the Hub supports conservation, builds local capacity, and strengthens Indigenous leadership in fisheries governance.
