Call for Proposals OPEN!

Land-based Learning Camps 2025-2026

Braiding Knowledges Canada (BKC) is now accepting proposals for Land-Based Learning (LBL) Initiatives for 2025-2026. This program supports youth-focused learning camps that braid Indigenous and Western knowledges.

The camps will provide an immersive, hands-on education experience where youth will learn from Elders, knowledge holders, and researchers in outdoor, place-based settings. The goal is to nurture youth talent, build intercultural competencies, and strengthen connections to the land and cultural practices while promoting personal development and career skills.

Projects may receive up to $100,000 CDN, with a matching funds requirement.

The deadline for submissions is June 2, 2025.
